Would anyone be interested in a 40k campaign?

Though plans are still in the formative stage, I'm thinking it would be a struggle for control of a subsector. The number of planets would depend on how many players we had, but the campaign would also include a Battlefleet Gothic component.

Turns on the campaign subsector map would take place during the week via email to the GM (me), with resulting battles to take place when the players arrange.

Ideally I'd like 4-6 players, though more players is less of a problem than fewer since people can be grouped into teams if necessary (though I doubt there'd be so many players that I'd have to worry about it). I wouldn't play a faction in the campaign, but I'd GM it and make sure everything runs smoothly. This can extend to playing games for people who lag or drop out.

There won't be an entry fee, and I'll have some prizes. Something nice-ish for the winner, maybe some achievement based rewards, and possibly a modest participation prize.

So, anyone interested?

Currently I've received two commitments. This leaves me with two slots left.

I've attached the campaign star map. Please bear in mind I'm no artist...

The campaign will be taking place in the Ataxerxes subsector, located on the remote edge of the Eastern Fringe. These systems had been isolated for almost two thousand years due to warp storm activity. Now that these tempests have abated, the region is open to exploration and exploitation.

I am still getting the campaign rules finalized, but as I stated it will include a Battlefleet Gothic component. I can teach BFG and even lend fleets, though I mostly have Imperial ships, some chaos, and a few ork vessels, so representation would probably be necessary for a bit.

We now have four players, but the campaign is not necessarily closed. I'll consider adding primary players until we're up to 6, and we can always look at forming teams. Subordinate/reserve commanders are also useful.

Currently our campaign has six factions and 12 active players. However, due to RL issues we're in the position of seeking a few replacements.

Our Tau faction is down to just one player, so we could use another active Tau.
Our Eldar faction could use 2 players.

The campaign integrates both 40k and BFG. BFG can be taught, and we have ships available for use, so you don't have to buy any if you don't want to.

We are also hosting a special campaign event on Sunday, June 2nd at Game Kastle in Fremont, CA, 12:00 noon. We're doing the Arena of Death from the Crusade of Fire book.

Our campaign has been going since 4/15, and we've already seen some incredible 40k and BFG fights, including a three-sided fleet engagement.

Here's the situation after a month of play:
