So last week I orderd my first personal Warmachine/Hordes army (I got the Warmachine two player starter box but dident want either army, Had friends who wanted the though and that helped me get friends into the game, Yay!) and I wanted to try Hordes too. (I know they play together, Thats why I wanted to get Hordes in as quickly as possible aswell) and desided to get Cygnar and Skorne. But since I wanted to get Hordes in quickly so we would get more armies to chose from I orderd the Hordes rule book, The Skorne starter box and the plastic Cataphract Arcuarii Unit (Dident find out till after I orderd the Cataphract Arcuarii arent released yet.. Hope they come out soon) But the book and Skorne starter box got shipped today and will likely arrive by the end of the week.

Anyways, What more should I get for the Skorne army? Could someone give some recomendations for warbeasts, units and solos, And maybe other warlocks? The Warlock models I like best are Supreme Aptimus Zaal, Tyrant Xerxis and Void Seer Mordikaar. For Warbeasts I like all the titans and cyclopses best. While for Units and Solos I realy have no idea..

Now as a subject of the Skorne empire, you want beasthandlers. They're pretty much mandatory because they're so good. Beyond that, it depends on which caster you want to use. If you like Cataphracts, Xerxes may be the way to go for you.

I found out that the plastic Arcuarii I orderd wont be out for a few months so how about a unit of Beasthandlers (Since everyone says they are so good) and a unit of 10 Praetorian Swordmen with Unit Attachment for a starting addition to the starter box? That brings me to 21 points, Same as the Menoth from the two player starter box for Warmachine and would let me play against the others in the group.

I like Tyrant Xerxis because he looks like he can cause some real pain to the enemies with his two big clubs ^_^ I picked the Arcuarii because they have a ranged attack, that lets you pull enemies into mele range and then hit themw ith a free melee attack, Seemed quite nice ^_^
