For those of you who don't know, the Corpus Brethren were once the Sentinels Chapter sent to their doom in the Abyssal Crusade.

At one point, they landed on a planet called Oliensis, which they found out was a massive and morbidly obese man.

Landing planetside, they were ambushed by a force of Noise Marines and were eventually swallowed up by the planet himself.

Now, when they came out, the Sentinels had turned into a cannibalistic warband known as the Corpus Brethren.

Now here's where I started to make up stuff about them.

Dead Space fans! Do you think its possible that these proud marines could have been overcome by the Corruption and become Necromorphs?

PM me if you want me to draw anything related to Warhmmer 40k. I will put it in my gallery for all to see.

Well, not exactly. They're Slaaneshi, not Nurglian. Unless they were more like vampires, which have somewhat functional nervous systems, despite being walking corpses, than they are zombies...

... but I don't really see it being a thing.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

No.

I do not think it is in the slightest bit possible for something in one fictitious universe to be effected by something from another.

You Probably can't do Corpus Bretheren since GW has them as followers of slaanesh , however you can still do something along the lines of Dead Space with Necromorphs however you have to mix the two enough so that they don't immediately scream dead space Necromorph, its ok to use it as an inspiration but too much and it will make it look bad. If anything create your own chapter with a name they uncover some Xenos or daemon artifact (kinda like a marker) which infects the chapter with a warp plague that kills the infected reviving them as possessed zombies (like Necromorphs) the chapter renames themselves the Transcendent or something becoming utterly dedicated to spreading the plague to the living. Just as long as you remember to use Dead Space as an Inspiration and trying to solely make them entirely making them like Dead Space then you should be fine. Good luck and I can't wait till you finish it so I can read it

In granting those who oppose me death I am giving them the mercy of Nurgle.
Releasing my enemies from the bonds of fear and oppression , from the shame of betrayal, I preform a kindness I erase contempt, regret, sorrow, insanity all the burdens of life, embrace death and be free or reject Nurgles gift and be destroyed.
