i cant find this anywhere online, so maybe its a dumb question.

from the rulebook -

Squadron Cards (S)
• A maximum of ONE Squadron card can be played on a Squadron
per Turn.
• A Squadron card affects ALL of the models in the Activated
Element of the Squadron.
• A Squadron card cannot be played on a model that is part of a
Squadron that has had an Action card played on it this Turn.

does this mean that during your entire turn you can only play 1 squadron card
OR
you can play 1 squadron card per squadron on your turn?
?

the rule doesnt define if its per each squadron or not.

You can play 1 of each card type per turn, and you can't use multiple cards on the same squadron.

- 1250 points
Empire of the Blazing Sun (Combined Theaters)- 1950 points
FUBAR Starship Troopers- Would you like to know more?
GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

i also posted this question on board game geeks forum and the reply i got said

"Each squadron can get an S card or an A card (but not both) per turn."

which is different then what you just said, lol.

Which game are you playing? I don't know if there is a substantial difference in the use of the cards, but there could be some. I've only played the Dystopian set personally.

I always had the understanding that there is no limit to the number of squadron or action cards playable per turn or else it would mention that in the general STAR card rules.

I think that the rules say each player can only play one turn card per turn, one squadron card on each squadron you activate each turn, and any number of action or reaction cards, as long as you don't use more than one on each action.

im just getting into uncharted seas, but ive checked all of spartan games rulebooks (they all use the STAR system) and all the rulebooks say the same thing.

it doesnt specify each, the exact wording is in the original post.

For Uncharted Seas it means that you can only play one squadron card on a squadron but if you have more than one squadron card in your hand you could play them on another squadron. You aren't restricted in only playing one squadron card in your turn. Though it will depend on what cards you have in your hand anyway of course.

my email response from spartan -

"You can play 1 Squadron Card on each Squadron every Turn."
