So not being a battlefront player i am somewhat out of touch with the community as such don't know much on the news or rumors front. What i was wondering is, are there any plans for any plastic infantry sets to be made like the stuff from the open fire box set?

I ask this because planning to do a Panzer Lehr themed army for Battlegroup Overlord and i bought the open fire box and while i thought the tanks where a little sub par i seriously love the infantry, the panzer grenadiers just seem so much more varied and animated then the alternative PSC stuff i was looking at.

As such i would love for battlefront to produce more plastic infantry like this, as i have also been a little unimpressed with the metal models i have bought over time from them. Not really bothered about plastic vehicles though as from the open fire examples it seems they have a long way to go to meet the quality of PSC.

Oh and is the mini rulebook i got in the box worth anything on ebay? or should i just find a FOW player that wants it?

I think I've seen the mini rule book on ebay, it was selling for a decent price.

The thing is, as long as it's cheaper than the big rule book someone will buy it! Just don't put the P&P up so it's the same price as a big rule book, I've seen so many people do that with FoW miniatures it's crazy.

I can't really help you with anything else though.

On the other hand, I'm sure there's someone that will be willing to recieve a mini rule book if you're offering, it just comes down to what you want to do.

The Market is saturated with Mini Rulebooks, most gamers I know have more than one and will happily give spare ones away to new players.

I actually think the mini rulebook is one of the best things to happen to gaming in a while, lots of people may be unwilling to splash out £30 on a hardback book for a system them may not even like. But who doesn’t like a paperback freebie?
