Hi All,

I was preparing my DV kit by scrapping off the mold lines with a scalpel. I was particularly careful with the fiddely bits, but unfortunately one of the two orbs on the Chaos Lord sword hilts has snapped off. It is way too small to glue it back, after multiple attempts there just isn't enough surface area for the glue to take. Now it's gone missing.

My question is, would there be a replacement bitz for this somewhere in existence if I wanted perfection or am I up for a new model?

Is green stuff an option?

You can buy the whole model for very little from eBay or an online bits firm. Are you using superglue? I ask, because there really isn't any small plastic piece that couldn't be glued with poly cement due to the way it adheres.

Green stuff is not an option. The orb is practically .5/1mm in diameter. Hence why I'm having trouble with superglue as well, the dabs of superglue coming out of the tube are larger than the orb lol.

Trust me, I'm a patient guy and it will not hold. It's also warped and lost detail after a few tries, and recently lost it in my carpet somewhere, so looking at replacement now.

I'll have a look on eBay, thanks

I had a look at the model on the GW site, poly cement should stick that, no trouble. You'll learn!
