I'm somewhat new to wargaming, had a couple of friends point me in the direction of 40k a few months back and I've finally gotten round to buying some models, so maybe there'll be some pictures when I've painted (or ruined) them....

Rotgut,

I started with CSM under Nurgle's banner, but I really have wrecked the paintwork :( I completely forgot to mix the blazing orange and dark flesh, instead I layered it, with the orange on top.

So not quite the rusted metal effect I was going for really, might put a picture up, as a reminder.

Hello, welcome to Dakka, don't worry about the few hundred figures you paint (in my case anyway)! never turns out the way you expect, good advice in the painting threads tho. Get some basic techniques, do it just to paint fr fun and see what works for you.
