Quick question.

Does anyone think it would b likely for opponent to object if i modeled both weapons onto my Riptide?

The primary weapons? You can't use both at the same time if that's what you're getting at rules wise (Not saying you are). It would also most likely look relatively poor, and confusing as you switch out between weapons between games even with this other unused weapon attached to it. Some may see it as odd, some may see it as a little cheap. I'd magnetise them if you are unsure of which to use then you can just use both!
Hope that helps.

I was going for more modeling aesthetics. Maybe ill just magnetise both arms on so i can have 1 of each or both. Thanks for the reply

Do you have a photo with both weapons blue tacked into place to be able to better judge. However I would agree with the above poster and magnetize that bad boy

I wouldn't really slag you for it...as long as we establish beforehand what loadout the riptide is using and that you remember aswell...

I have had a case before where an opponent modeled 2 variants on a model and he kept trying to switch between the two when the situation for the other would have been more useful and doing the old "ohh yeah thats right...sorry dude!" *sigh* so transparent lol...

I would give it the green light in a normal game though

one thing to keep im mind...i was wondering about this myself but I painted my riptide without attaching....when both connecting parts are painted properly they fit together quite snug....im at the point now where I can just pop my weapon of choice in....give it a shot and if not...moar paint

Edit : disregard post....I thought you were talking about secondary weapons for some reason...not primaries ....durrrr
