BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
FOR THE EMPEROR
For there is light, There is darkness.
For there is good, There is evil
For there is life, There is death
For there is peace, There is Chaos.
Never Give Up, Never Surrender
Heaven and Hell are at War & my soul is the battle ground.
Thus if im good, I cant be evil. But if im evil, Thus must kill for Blood.

Pick up a new game, maybe? Don't let it get you down, there are plenty of alternatives out there.

Couldn't agree more. Alternatively, you could just take a complete break from wargaming for a while; then come back to the hobby later, refreshed.

It is easy to allow a hobby, particularly this one, to consume an abnormally large amount of our time, energy, and effort.
It may very well be that the hobby is actually beginning to assume a more balanced place in your life.
This can actually be a very good thing.
I have been war gaming for 31 years, so I have seen many extremes in this regard.
Those who enjoy it in moderation tend to enjoy it more over the long term.
Hope this helps.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Consider looking up if there is a non-GW local gaming store near you. If so, you might be able to get plugged into a group of gamers that play other games. No good starting something new if there is no one to play it with! That is my strategy... I make sure the local gamers are going to also get into a game before taking the plunge, usually.

Welcome. Ihad similar concerns with that company so I switched to Mantic Games and have been satisfied so far. I hope you find a way to enjoy the hobby, even if that means taking a break as was suggested.

May the dice be with you!
