I used to play 40k back in 4th editions and I've just recently gotten back into the hobby.

My current project right now is completing my 1750-2k Tau army that I have been waiting all these years to finally start.

Currently I'm trying to finalize a paint scheme (contacted the owner of the amazing carbon fiber shas'o r'alai in the gallery to get the technique on paper). Once that is done, I'll pick out some bases - If I do a swamp scheme they will be scratch build, if urban then I may buy some resin bases. Once all the styles are selected then I have the following models waiting in a box to be prep'd and assembled:

1x shas'o r'alai, 5x xv89, 6x xv81, 2x firewarrior boxes, 4x new broadsides

Once I get things moving along I'll probably post a thread on my army's progress
