Hey dakkas, panting an army in memory of my troops,

and I need help with camo green - basically how to highlight it and which paint to use for base?
For highlights I was thinking camo green mixed with bleached bone, but wanted to hear suggestions first?

Are you actually trying to do a camo scheme? Or are you just wanting to shade/compliment a "camo green" base color?

Both examples actually, no idea how to get the randomized of an army camuflage - and the other how to work with GW camo green paint with basecoat and highlights

Are you aiming for a particular camo pattern? If so, pics of the pattern you're looking for could help us get a better idea of colors. No matter what you're looking for, Vallejo's Model Color range is probably a good place to start, as they're intended for exactly this purpose.
