I'm having a few teething problems with my new avatar. Mainly, the black background. When I upload it, it has no background. It's how I want it there. However, it puts on the background rather annoyingly, and was wondering how I could remove it.

Do you mean that it's a GIF with a transparent background, and it's getting a background added when you upload it?


If so, that would be because when you upload to Dakka, it turns it into a JPG. If you want to use a GIF as your avatar, it needs to be hosted elsewhere.
