Seven years later and I finally finished a squad. I know there can be more done, but I don't know what or how. Any thoughts?

And which base color should I use for the terrain? Mournfang Brown or Dawnstone?

They look solid! I wouldn't go with either color, honestly. What I'd do is drybrush the Dawnstone over the black. That will give the basing some depth and give you a nice, deep urban look to your basing.

Out of the 2 bases presented, I prefer the brown. It's more logical that you wouldn't send guys with red camo into an urban zone (they'd stick out... a lot) as they'd be more suited to dirt terrain.

Great job on your success here. The squad looks good overall.

To be picky, which I think may be why you posted here I think the black gun areas should have contrast against the blackish arm sleeves. In addition, spending some more time making the green lenses really pop out would make these already good minis great.

A 50 word background for each squad, even if it's for your own good might inspire you to customize the squad further with icons, heralds, banners etc.

Ill give that a try on another one and see how it looks. Thanks for the idea.

I have a sepia wash that ill darken the recesses with that then try a dry brush of a lighter brown.

Thank you for the critiques. The model consists of a 50/50 mix of Dawnstone and abadon black and troll slayer orange. The gun is the 50/50 and the gloves are straight black. How do you recommend that I Crete that contest?

Also how do you recommend I make the lenses pop? Are you talking about their face or the gun?
