Alright guys so i have put together my next project and need a little help on trying what to decide with how to paint it. I have a thought of painting the wings with the yellow and black stripes the proper word has slipped my mind but i am not the best painter so how should i approach this task.
1. Do i paint over everything ignoring the razed parts and paint those yellow and black stripe.
2. or paint the razed part gold with the same black and yellow wings with a heavily rusted in the middle with it getting less and less rusted as you get further away from the main body.

im leaning towards the second idea and could someone give me some pointers on how to paint this up.
Do i prime it black then paint the wings brown followed by the yellow then take a ruler with a fine black pen and fill it in with black and we are done after a light dry brush of orange silver and brown. then the same with the cockpit minus the yellow and black lines with a heavier dry brush.

any suggestions, tips, tricks.
