Our beloved Eddiey will be running the Golden Gargant 40k Tournament at Kublacon this year. Not going to make it to the convention this year? Want a trial run beforehand? We've got you covered. Ed has graciously offered to run a smaller scale version a week prior here at Gamescape North in San Rafael, CA.

Saturday May 18th, 11:00-7:00
$10 entry
1500 Points

Taken from the Kublacon website, via Edwin Siegel:
1,500 Points. Standard force organization. Three rounds.

The Golden Gargant will be using the '2013 Bay Area Open' rules this year, which can be found here: http://www.frontlinegaming.org/community/bay-area-open/warhammer-40000-championships-rules-scenarios-and-prizes/

The following changes are made to the above rules:
*There will only be three rounds.
*Scenarios will be different from those listed, though will be similar in spirit and style.
*Ignore painting requirements, however painting will be judged.
*Objective markers may be 25mm or 40mm at your discretion, as long as they are in two distinct groups of 2 and 3. They may also be tokens of the same size, and are not required to specifically bases.
*Players will only need 5 copies of their army list (including one for themselves), not 9.

Players will be graded on generalship, painting, and sportsmanship. Sign ups are encouraged but not required, though space is limited.

11:30-1:30 Game 1
1:30- 2:15 Lunch
2:15-4:15 Game 2
4:30-6:30 Game 3
