Great battle report, thanks for sharing it. Models on both sides were painted very nicely.

I thought it was a good match, I feel the Eldar would have had the game if it went one or two more turns, but hard to be sure. Sad to see them lose to silly marines, but can't win them all.

One discrepancy I noted: I just finally switched to sixth edition like a month ago, so I may be wrong, but I believe you can only fire two missiles in one turn? Your Voidraven seemed to have fired three.

Regardless, I'm pretty excited for the new Eldar codex as well. I play Dark Eldar and Orks primarily, and would love to have a DE/Eldar army, but with the new codex coming I've been hesitant to take them as allies. I could see having some fun with an Avatar and Wraithknight providing so heavy support though...

Thanks, yeah, my second time playing with a flier and i played it wrong :( but, at least, it wasn´t a game changer. I think turn 6 would have spelled doom for the puppies thou. I´ve spent 200€ already preordering the new Eldar stuff, but didn´t have the guts to go berserk before i see the codex . If the new Eldar codex hadn´t come, i would have started DE (in bigger scale) for sure. Poison weaponry´s just nasty. You should check the combination of Archon (Huskblade, Shadow field(?)) accompanied by some Wyches and Eldar farseer with Doom/Fortune...Archon in front taking all of the fire with 2++ and once in close combat, let him challenge and it´s adios for MC´s or any other dumb***ses who accept

That does sound like a brutal combo. I definitely see that being a good murderball. I'm mostly interested in an Iyanden army for allies (and not just because of the wraithknight), though I'm not too fond of the primary yellow, and switching them around just makes them Alaitoc which aren't as interesting (though I did like the three books by Gav Thorpe).

I started my Eldar army the eBay way, so mine´s a tad ragtag -version. Bit that´s how i got my Lost Vyper Fleet -fluff and it works. I tend to paint the new things i get, with my black/orange scheme (yes, easy, but i´m more of a player than a painter ). I´m planning to get the books also for summertime reading. Keep watching the bat reps and if you like them order the channel, but i´ll post the links here also! Have a dice filled summer !
