This is a battle report between the forces of chaos and a combination of Grey Knights and Eldar.

It was a special scenario involving two tables (one with a zone mortalis) that had various special rules that caused An'ggrath (a greater bloodthirster) to either be summoned onto the material plane or banished back into the warp.

Well it looked like you had a good time and it seems many people sure liked this video. I can't make myself watch this though with all these unpainted models and shaking camera. Would you consider to write the battle report down? Only a few if any pictures would be needed I think.
Nice clear and non-monotone voice though!

To me the Chaos Space Marines needed to be characterised as a threat reaching back to the Imperium's past, a threat which had refused to lie down and become part of history. This is in part why the gods of Chaos are less pivotal in Codex Chaos; we felt that the motivations of Chaos Space Marines should remain their own, no matter how debased and vile. Though the corrupted Space Marines of the Traitor Legions make excellent champions for the gods of Chaos, they are not pawns and have their own agendas of vengeance, empire-building vindication or arcane study which gives them purpose.

Yes I apologize for the unpainted models, my daemon army was fully painted before the new codex but now.....

I'm working on the chaos marines as I speak (type) though.

Fun stuff! I enjoyed the imaginative scenario and the linked-table dynamic. Great looking Zone Mortalis terrain as well. Thanks for posting this!

I enjoyed watching this and the scenario you used. I do want to ask about the 'earthquakes' that were mentioned in the beginning. Were they not used or inconsequential? I don't remember hearing that rule being used.

The table we used was from the zone mortalis rules and caused cave-ins, earthquakes and the like.

The cave-ins were very inconsequential killing about 3 dire avengers, usually they just scattered and missed and targets. The most useful effects (for the chaos side) were clouds of dust that gave -1 BS.

Overall not the most effective table.
