I'm looking into FoW and I was hoping for a little insight on the open fire box set. I understand the EW, MW, LW thing and that each and every army list is different and allows for different unit choices. What I'm wondering is how versitile is this box set. Do these units fit into multiple lists or are some specific to only one.

Open fire is actually pretty decent.

For the Germans pretty much everything is useable in mid-war and late-war

For the British/Americans most of it useable in mid-war/ latewar aside from the Firefly.

So the box set gives you a pretty decent start for either period. The allied starter stuff is prolly abit worse as it gives you alittle bit of british and a alittle bit of Americans which in midwar cants be used together.
