Hi Everyone,

I am looking at painting some Eldar witchblades and curious about whether there is a prefered effect based on the fluff. Previously I painted Eldar powerswords and witchblades etc with a gradual color brightening from hilt to tip with either a wet blend or airbrush. I know they also are painted with an alternating light and dark crystal or mirror type effect. I was thinking I would like to try and paint the lightning bolt type effects I am seeing people paint on SM powerswords but wasn't sure if that would be incorrect from a fluff perspective?

More of an Eldar sword painting style question than a how to question.

Okay well it doesnt appear I am going against the fluff by doing the lightning bolts so lightening bolts it is!
