I'm getting into the hobby myself and with Skorne as well. I think you are on the right track with the 2nd list. My personal 25 list I am shooting for looks like this:
Master Tormentor Morghoul (*7pts)
* Cyclops Brute (5pts)
* Bronzeback Titan (10pts)
* Titan Gladiator (8pts)
Nihilators (Leader and 5 Grunts) (5pts)
Paingiver Beast Handlers (Leader and 3 Grunts) (2pts)
Mortitheurge Willbreaker (2pts)

Here is the reasoning behind it, the brute is great for his animus as Morg getting knocked down means game over, also with his shield guard he can protect Morg's arse, combine all of this with the ability to transfer damage and generate fury that should be near Morg makes this guy great. I read you can buy the parts from Privateer Press as well as the card for the brute to convert one of the savages for around $10, it would be hard to design a list that would actually need the 2 savages. As for the bronzeback this guy works so well with a Gladiator, Abuse, Enrage and Rush cast on the BB and it can take multiple jacks per turn when it cannot take down something in comes the gladiator, you can push fury on that gladiator and he auto passes threshold checks due to the bronzeback, I saw a video battle report where these guys took down a gargossal in one turn In want to say it was the Khador one. Nihilators are there same reason yours are they don't need much support and they are gonna hold things up, I wish I could fit in a full unit but this is hordes not infantrymachine, as Skorne our beasts need to do the heavy lifting. PGBH obvious reasons. Now Willbreaker... the argument over what is better Agonize or Willbreaker will go on for ages, I do plan on getting both and switching when needed, however I think pMorg benefits from Willbreaker more cause it can force beasts and do to Morg's small control area this is nice, in my above list it would allow the Bronzeback an extra attack with Abuse and Enrage this is a POW 21 attack. I really like the Agonizer in lists like Rasheth especially in a tiered Chain Gang where they start with fury however with pMorg between Abuse and Adomation as well as wanting fury for himself for buying extra attacks and transfering damage I just don't see him having much fury left over to bank in the Agonizer.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

Thank you for the help.
I'm thinking of getting another heavy beast. But don't know which one because I like all the models.
