So I just picked up Open Fire, a US Parachute Rifle Company Box and the Easy Company Blister. This is the list I've started putting together.

Question:
To add Easy Company, do I add the points for each stand or substitute their point value?

I thought easy company were in the nuts book, and the Irish guard support market garden?

They are but I didn't see anything saying they could only be applied to a NUTS! Parachute Rifle List, it's says "a" Parachute Rifle Company

Anyone have any thoughts on having the Glider Rifle Platoon and MG platoon over another full Para Rifle/MG Platoon. I saving about 150pts by having a dedicated MG Platoon.

Well that's just silly, it's not like E Co 506 only fought at Bastogne. Even so army list is the same without Easy at 1320.

If I feel the need to run with Easy ill just drop the armor and shuffle things.

I really do not see problem with using them if the other players do not. You would not be able to run them in tourney.but it is your your models,I have a player in are group that does, i havent had a problem.we just add the point values from nuts.After all they are special charcters anyways. We are getting ready to be using them and General Taylor for are d day games.
As for me i use a warrior and a couple of charcters i built up from the Aces rules for my SS. Are group enjoys playing more of a ww2 movie than historical Accuracy anyways. If anything maybe scale them by dropping one or two..

How do we feel about this?

I know Easy Company took part in Operation Market Garden, and the series at least depicted them alongside some British Shermans during the Operation near Nuenan IIRC.

I know I wouldn't have an issue (possibly because I want to do the same thing )
