Hi, was wondering what your thoughts were on painting select Word Bearers (chosen and perhaps some HQs?) with gold trim instead of silver for a posher look on these elite units. I am a bit worried they'd look like World Eaters but would like something a little special to make the chosen stand out. Thoughts?

Thanks

I think they would look fine. A good tip if you don't want bright gold like the world eaters tend to have would be to use something like golden griffon then give it a black wash. This will tone it down giving a muted look that is still gold but not khorne style.

This generally looks great. They won't look like world eters if your crimson is dark enough, especially if they're covered in word bearer script.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

What kinda crimson do you think would be appropriate? Thanks for your replies!
