How do most people go about fielding a farseer on jetbike? Do they just paint a standard guardian jetbike differently, or convert one? If conversion is the requisite for tourny play, what is the most cheap and lazy-friendly way to do it? Looking for suggestions for my new Eldar Allies.

Cut up from the waist of the plastic farseer or something and stick it on the jetbiker.. That's how I would do it. I might also change the helmet, gs a robe and change his arms

I'm working one up for my new force. Here is a partial pic, I've got him a little farther along since then.

New plastic farseer, stock jetbike. I cut the dangling rune armor part off the torso, and the one gem hanging off his belt in the back. I should probably use a little greenstuff to clean up the join to the legs, but it's not that bad just glueing it straight on. I went with the casting arm, but it didn't look like it would be that hard to cut the arm off and use one the the biker's to grip the handlebars. Better greenstuffers then I would probably redo the robes, or at the very least bulk out the other arm to match.

I plan of magnetizing the head, with the option to swap out with the pilot's helmet from the hemlock writhfighter. This way he can work either as a farseer or warlock.

Eventually I'll get an update on his progress in my slowly updating blog if you want to see how he turns out.

Chapterhouse has two nice conversion kits for farseer and warlock (at least for the riders):

Its not about the type of weapon, its about how you use it.

This is what I ended up doing

Did some minor modelling work to a dire avenger exarch helm, separated and the ribbon from the DA exarch spear arm, then attached to guardian legs with some greenstuff. Pretty simple.
