Hi all,

Im intrigued by firestorm armada - SGs "other" game. myself and a lot of my mates have recently gotten into dystopian wars and im interested in trying out some other games from the company. So i saw the pics of the Rense system navy, and thats me sold!

When my next paycheck lands, im seriously tempted to invest in these guys, and through them, potentially the dindrenzi.

I will be picking up the starter fleets for them, when i can. what i do want to do as well though is pick up a second fleet - so i can run proper demos with folks who are interested, and to see if i can drum up a wee bit of support. Is there a good match up in terms of the starter sets? who goes well against who? I find with Infinity demos, a few line kazaks and a veteran kazak against a few zhanshi and an invincible is a good build. I find with warmachine/hordes - the starter packs are a great place. Do what would be a good demo base to build on?

my second quiestion is this - i checked out the SG forums and couldnt really find an answer to this. Is there a place where i can find a run down on the factions - the strengths and weaknesses of each? Im also interested in the current state of the game. Ive heard terrans were nerfed in v2, and soryllians are the most powerful faction. ive heard folks moaning about v2 - which means nothing to me at the moment. are these comments true? What is the current state of play? If its not reasonably balanced, i see little point in entering.

cheers

If i recall, the Dindrenzi's polar opposite is the Terran forces, so that could be a good starting point for a second fleet.
