FYI tanks can leave a bogged platoon member behind and let it catch up once it is freed, as long as more then half the platoon is in command distance of the Platoon leader

If the platoon command tank bogs, you can nominate another tank within command distance to take over the platoon at the end of any step

You can also tow it out with a same-size or larger vehicle on a successful skill check. Might not always be worth losing 2 tanks shots that turn to free the one, but in a pinch it could be handy.
