I was wondering if there were any good gloss varnish sprays out there? I'd prefer to spray it on rather than brushing, i'm a lazy person sometimes lol.

so long as you don't buy one from GW, most should be fine. Stay the hell away from anything that says "satin finish". It's a trap.

I've used satin all right but the OP wants gloss anyway.

If I'm spraying on to acrylic paint I use the household polyurethane spray you can get at DIY shops. The brand name in the UK is Plasti-Kote.

If I used pens on the model, particularly metallic ink, I paint over that part first with acrylic gloss varnish. This prevents the solvent in the spray varnish from making the ink run.
