Hello all,

I am looking for a large model axe to complete a Bloodthirster conversion, resin / plastic / metal, I don't really mind what the material is, but it needs to be between 8 and 10 cm long (approx 3.5 inches), I have tried looking online, but without much luck.

I have scratchbuilt an axe, but am not really happy with it. Can anyone recommend a supplier / website that might have what I am looking for?

Does anyone know how big Ghetorix's axe is? Since you can buy just the part without the rest of the model.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys - unfortunately I think they are both too small, I wonder whether I'm going to try anf find something from a different scale...Inquisitor maybe?

10cm is going to be an axe twice the size of an inquisitor model. They are only 54mm scale. Are you sure you want something that big? That really is ridiculously huge

Although the line is being cut back at the moment, I thought there used to be a techpriest sort of model with an axe but I can't remember. That may have just been one of the WD teams models that he scratchbuilt, I can't find my issue.

I have been thinking that the axe from the new Khorne Apocalypse model might work, but I'll only do that if it comes with other options, as £80, or however much it'll cost, is a lot for one part...

If you can find them (as they are sadly OOP right now IIRC) Heresy miniatures Netheraxes are perfect.

Here they are on my Skarbrand conversion.
