I am considering converting 10 Swooping Hawks using 2 boxes of Dark Eldar Scourges and a box of the Forge World Eldar Corsair weapons.

I have a few questions to the Eldar fans and modellers out there:

1. Are there enough of the feathered wings in 2 Scourge sets to do 10 models (bat wings really don't suit Swooping Hawks)?
2. Are there enough lasblasters in the corsair set to do the whole unit (10 lasblasters needed)?
3. Is there a 'special' lasblaster so I can kit out the hawk exarch?

I am looking at doing it this way to avoid the GW Finecast models (it is only slightly more expensive this way than buying 2 sets of finecast hawks) as I really don't want the problems from the finecast minis plus I don't have two models sat around I likely won't use (I doubt I would ever field 2 squads of 6 Hawks).

Can anyone help me out?

I bought the Forge World Corsair kit recently, and here's what I received:

16 Corsair Helmets
10 jump packs
10 lasblasters
1 fusion pistol
1 shuriken pistol w/arm
1 power weapon w/arm

There's no special Lasblaster for the Exarch, but depending on how much trouble you want to go through, giving him a special gun could be as simple as painting it differently.

They were warped like crazy, but it's Forge World, and that sort of thing is pretty common.

Looking at the GW site sprue pictures, it looks like the Scourge kits have 3 sets of feathered wings and 2 sets of bat wings in each box, so I don't think you'd get enough for 10.
