Hi there,
just registered and introducing myself... last year I decided to get back into the hobby (after a 17 year hiatus) mainly because I played dawn of war on the PC and the nostalgia rekindled some interest to start painting again. I had never really played the game before in my youth but this time round I've found a local gaming club and jumped right in. I still don't know what I am doing half the time but its fun and have met some cool people.
i'm still very much enjoy the painting most of all and I feel i'm slowly getting to grips with learning new techniques and my armies don't look too bad... i'm always on the look out for painting advice and tips.
I currently have around 2000pts of Orks and 2000pts of dark Angels... I've tended to buy what I wanted to paint rather than build lists and if anyone's interested I've put some pictures up in my gallery, please feel free to offer ways in which I could improve!!
