Game colour can be a little fiddly in that some settle really badly and many of them separate. I've never had a problem with over-thinning for them and I have used them as washes and glazes, but admittedly I'm far from the best painter. If you're thinning to glaze you're probably using matt medium so the paint won't break down anyway. I had to buy a ($4 on ebay) battery powered stirrer for my VGC, that's how bad they can settle heheh. Worth it though imo. If you have a problem with VGC, 90% of the time it's due to needing to stir the paint, not just shake it. Model colour in general has less problems, so if it has the colour you want it's best to go for it. Game colour just has a nice selection of vibrant paints.
