I really hate the standard warhounds. They look like ox-dogs. Any idea what to use instead? I'd prefer regular wolves to these, but I figure I should do something to make them a little chaos-y at least.

I would use the wolves you can buy from the WHFB Orcs & Goblins bitz section. 5$ for 5 wolves, if I remember it right.
Apply greenstuff+bits from your chaos/beastmen kits and enjoy!

I saw those and considered it. Do they have different poses, do you know? Because that might be exactly what I end up doing if they're not all just standing there all the same. And $5 for five is a great price when I need like 20 hounds.

To answer my own question, I had some Space Wolves wolves (wolves wolves wolves) and they fit perfectly on the square bases. Hope that helps someone some day.
