Does anyone know of an online distributor that has discounted shipping to Canada, specifically Ontario?

I've only found one wargaming distributor in Canada, and being based in Alberta it's significantly more expensive than shipping from the UK. The same goes for the States (either no or very low subsidies on shipping make USPS one of the most expensive options I've seen) and most of continental Europe.

It'd be absolutely perfect if there was someone who had a buy a certain amount and it ships free deal that extended to the whole world, or at least to this little country I live in.
I understand that P&P is expensive for the distributor and all, but I'd really much rather spend that (usually quite significant sum of) money on more minis or paints or the like.
This may be a pipe dream, but I figured it was worth a shot.

If all else fails, I'll continue to take advantage of the UKs comparitively low international postage rates (it's seriously cheaper to ship something from Great Britain than a town about an hour's drive away, no, I can't explain why).

Thanks.

I get all my stuff from Meeplemart in Toronto. It's flat-rate shipping, $16 to me in Alberta, and iirc only $10 for shipping within Ontario. The prices aren't terrible, with some being comparable to say Miniaturemarket, although the box sets are usually $5-$8 more.

Besides supporting Canadian business, you do not have to worry about that customs charge/fee you get once in a while when ordering internationally.

*ding dong* Your delivery is here! Surprise! "You owe a customs fee" "Yes sir I am sorry the fee is around 50% of what you ordered" "No sir, we do not carry any change."

You're on the money there. I've been hit with more than 50$ in customs more than once. It's not fun in the slightest.
Thanks for the reply. I hadn't heard of them, I'll give them a look.
Cheers.

For my split box stuff I do a flat rate of £3.50 for shipping, which I think is around $10 or something.
For everything else, so long as therr are boxes involved I can usually do free shipping.
I do ship to Canada fairly often and everything's been ok so far

I can support all affirmations regarding Meeplemart, Steve Lefort gives great service.

Thanks for the replies. I'll definitely be ordering some stuff through Meeplemart.
Shae-Konnit, those rates are excellent, 3 pound 50 is closer to $5.50, so that really is an amazing rate. Unfortunately it looks like you're out of Infinity stock at the moment.
Thanks for the replies,
Cheers!

Ah, that makes sense. I especially like his idea about splitting packs. Should help avoid some duplicates if I buy a starter but want another figure that only comes in a set which includes some stuff from the starter.
I'll keep him in mind, thanks.
