Yeah I was dicking around with a hell Brute I was trying to convert into a daemon prince and was using MMD Quick drying green putty. I was using a paper clip to get rid of the dry green putty and after a little while it hardened on the paper clip. I couldn't find my tool and used the paper clip in a desperate attempt to spread the putty where I needed it before it fully dried and ended up stabbing my thumb.
It went under a layer of skin and was pulled out kinda quick but it hurts like hell and being paranoid I can't help but think I introduced something bad into my system. the putty was dry from what I can tell and I'm being super paranoid right now.

Is the putty toxic? Can something like this be a problem?

Your exposure was infintescimle. You'd survive a brief exposure to that little cyanide, much less some sort of modelling epoxy.

The fact that it hurts probably has a lot more to do with the fact that you stabbed yourself to bleeding with a paper clip. That's not going to leave a clean, painless wound regardless of what gunk was on it.

Usually products just warn about not eating it and/or getting it in your eyes.

Needless to say this should be an interesting phone call to poison control.


Even if it was toxic the amount that would have entered your body would have been miniscule. You’ll be fine.

It says alot about how it's flammable and not to breath in the vapors. How not to ingest/ take internally and it can cause kidney and liver issues as well as birth defects. I didn't eat it and it wasn't alot (id imagine) that would of got into my finger but I'm still not sure if there is cause for concern. I'm also diabetic so I'm paranoid about such things.

Was curious if such a thing had happen to anyone else or if anyone had some sort of knowledge or insight to help me out here.

Actually, that Green Putty is nasty stuff that is quite toxic. But, it's more about fumes and large extended skin contact. You'll be fine. My guess is that you nicked a nerve (lots of them in your digits) and that hurts like hell and you might find it hurts for a few days.
