This is a rather humorous and interesting question. Why don't you test it yourself and let us know how it goes? Plus if it doesn't work then you get to have a can of brake fluid sitting around just in case you need it.
I would be careful with the stuff though, it can be kind of nasty to work with. And I know for a fact that it does indeed eat most kinds of non-specialized rubber and probably some plastics as well, so it might very well eat green stuff (and the model it's attached to for all I know).
