Heya,

Back in Jan I got the DW Command squad box, a box of assault Terminators cos I had enough shooty bitz and decided to build my own Belial, 2/3 of those projects were completed and the only thing left to do is to paint 2 arms a thunder hammer a stormshield 4 shoulderpads and a banner. I digress.....

When I was building these I noticed a VAST inconsistency of parts between the regular terminators and the DWCS terminators. Has anybody had similar issues bitzbashing together mixed boxes of terminators?

Some examples include the shoulders not fitting the DWCS arms from the Assault Terminator boxes, the torsos being incompatible, the backs being incompatible with each other, the knights not fitting the "old" Terminator backs and the helms not fitting into the torsos. I've also had issues with the banner carrier, the cyclone missile launcher and most annoying of all, the champion with halberd of caliban not fitting flush to the torso.

That said, with work and a bit of greenstuffing/careful placement of bitz, i've managed to have 10 very pimped out and DAesque terminators that I'm more than happy with.

For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

With finecast you can bypass the washing stage and throw them straight into the bin.

Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.

Nope I using plain shoulder pads (from regular) and robed terminators for my Guardians of the Covenant. The angels shields and shoulders will be used for future DW Knights.

Also I'm using the dark angel upgrade sprue for the storm shields.

If you have a pic of your issue. We can help you a lot more.

Edited for typos...

Yep, had some of those issues. Put together 30 deathwing terminators recently, using a combination of assault bitz and DW bitz. The robed bits do not behave well with the other legs, you have to just mess around with different combinations of robe and leg stances until you find compatible parts. No problems with helms or the other parts mentioned. What kind of problem did you find with the Cyclone? Can't imagine what could go wrong there.
