Not ready to engage, yet (still painting...won't field an unpainted army...that's just me!) but I'm wondering if there are any group/players in the Ames / Mason City area.

I know Mayhem is down that way, and of course I could go to Des Moines Mayhem--but 90 miles is a little far without adequate plans.

I also know in Mason that Then and Now (the main game store) doesn't do wargaming oriented games :(

I use to live in Ames. At the time, Mayhem was a great bunch of players that was ready to teach new players.
