So I have entered an esculation league where I plan on going from 15 point list to a 50 point list over a period of 6 months or so to l;eanr the game (and hopefully get good for 2014 tournaments) here is what I plan on for my esculation.

I like your plan overall. The only elements I question are sticking with Lyl all the way to 50 points and the spawning vessel in a list with so few bodies.

I've never heard of pLyl doing anything great at 50 points and I don't think I've ever played her at that point level. Not to say she is bad, but larger games don't seem to be her forte. On the plus side, you will be used to herand familiarity matters in this game.

The vessel is quite good and can provide it's own corpse tokens if needed but ideally you want it behind a unit like legionaries or swordsmen. If you are sticking with pLyl the whole way consider a succubus instead. You can always get the vessel later, after you have smaller infantry yo feed it more corpse tokens.

The only reason I added the Spawning Vessal is because I know a few of my opponants like to field lots of infantry so plan on recycling his infantry into lesser beasts for myself just have to focus on protecting the vessal and keeping it in my 2nd wave
