Hi all, I'm trying to decide which list to use between the two. Of course I'm open to suggestions that completely redesign them, no problem in buying/customizing models. Any advice is more than welcome!

First list:

Total Cost: 1849

HQ:
. . 1 Abaddon the Despoiler, 265 pts

. . Chaos Lord, 145 pts)
. . . . Black Mace, Mark of Slaanesh, Chaos Bike

Troops:
. . 8 Chaos Space Marines, 170 pts
. . . . Mark of Slaanesh + Icon of Excess + Meltagun + Swap bolter for extra CC

. . 10 Noise Marines, 275 pts
. . . . Icon of Excess + Blastmaster x2
. . . . Champion with Melta Bombs

. . 10 Noise Marines, 168 pts =
. . . . Sonic Blaster x5
. . . . Champion with Melta Bombs

Fast Attack:
. . 7 Chaos Bikers, 219 pts
. . . . Mark of Slaanesh + Icon of Excess + Meltagun x2

. . 1 Heldrake, 170 pts
. . . . Baleflamer

. . 1 Heldrake, 170 pts
. . . . Baleflamer

Heavy Support: (1#, 235 pts)
. . 1 Chaos Land Raider
. . . . Dirge Caster

Tactics: Pretty straightforward. Charge head on with the Land Raider and the Bikers to kill stuff. Use the blastmasters to provide covering fire from distance, while slowly advancing with the NM with Sonic Blasters and take an objective in the mid-field or even better on the opponent's side. Use the Heldrakes to roast loyalists, xenos and other traitors that oppose to the mighty Abaddon.

While I like the composition of this list, I'm afraid its model count may be too low. Units are pretty durable (e.g: CSM and Abaddon have Feel No Pain and are hidden inside AV14, the bikers between T5, Jink and Feel No Pain could even survive a without much casualties a volley of plasma shots), but no matter what, Abaddon and bikes cannot kill more than 1 unit a turn. I feel like this list would work better with some addition in a 2250+ list, where I could back them up with some cheaper support units.

Second list:

Total Cost: 1849

HQ:
. . Chaos Lord, 145 pts)
. . . . Black Mace, Mark of Slaanesh, Chaos Bike

Troops:

. . 10 Noise Marines, 275 pts
. . . . Icon of Excess + Blastmaster x2
. . . . Champion with Melta Bombs

. . 10 Noise Marines, 168 pts =
. . . . Sonic Blaster x5
. . . . Champion with Melta Bombs

Fast Attack:
. . 7 Chaos Bikers, 219 pts
. . . . Mark of Slaanesh + Icon of Excess + Meltagun x2

. . 1 Heldrake, 170 pts
. . . . Baleflamer

. . 1 Heldrake, 170 pts
. . . . Baleflamer

Heavy Support:
. . 1 Obliterator, 76 pts
. . . . Mark of Nurgle

--- ALLIES ----

HQ:
. . 1 Lord of Change (HQ), 270 pts
. . . . Staff of Change, Mastery Level 2, Portaglyph

Troops:
. . 10 Daemonettes of Slaanesh (Troops) , 90 pts

Fast Attack:
. . 16 Flesh Hounds of Khorne , 256 pts

With this list I lack the presence of Abaddon and have a less durable selection of troops overall. However I can present three immediate threats to my opponent instead of two (Bikers with Lord, Lord of Change and Flesh Hounds). Additionally the Portaglyph should allow me to mitigate the lack of troops, as I could use the few daemons it will spawn to claim or contest objectives, while making sure that the opponent is too busy facing the other units that are trying to slaughter him.

I think you're right about the first list with the model count.
It seems as if it's a bit too fragile. The IoE is a little pricy for me, if I'm not going all out. Besides, the CSM are probably going to dissapoint you in their damage output, and basically serve as a meatshield for Abaddon. At 1850 points, i don't think that Abby's worth it, since he's a death star all to himself, but lacks the proper escort to do him justice. If you split him of from the CSM they are going to be a wet sponge instead of a brick when you hit the enemy lines. Terminators/Obliterators do him justice when you enter midfield and even possessed and mutilators are pretty decent units to field alongside the Despoiler.

The second list lacks a bit of focus, since it is concerned with striking fast, but you're still spending a lot of points on supporting fire, that may not work out as you planned and could cause your battle plan to be partial to run and gun decisions. A doom siren could cause all manner of havoc on the CQ NM since it's going to be in your opponent's face, and its also an excellent assault deterrent with the high strength/low ap. The daemons look solid, but I have a hard time seeing you succeed in comtesting/scoring in your opponent's DZ.

Of the two lists, I feel that the second seems the most potent of them, but eventually I would suggest trying it out a couple of games and see if it plays into your strengths as a general.
It might work and the level of points vs. the amount of hitting power seems about right for at least a semi-competitive environment.

Have you considered Mauler Fiends? They ram into your opponent's line pretty fast and you get to choose their first victims. They could add even more first strike potential to the lists and potentially destroy some of your hard counter units with that speed.
