Here is my latest project. After I put together an army list, it was suggested that I add another cryptek to add some more flexibility to my strategies. To this end I took to my bitz box and built a new cryptek from the ground up.
I started with the chest-piece of a warrior and the back-piece of a preatorian however the two didn't fit properly and I had to trim some of the inside of the chest-piece to get it to work. Even then, there was a gap on the sides that I had to fill with green-stuff. I cut up a pair of warrior legs and repositioned them so that the finished model would be almost kneeling. For the left arm I used the upper-arm of a warrior and for the rest I used an optional arm from the finecast overlord model. The right arm was taken from a preatarian sprue along with parts for the staff which includes parts of a synaptic disintegratior rifle, warscythe and a rod of covenant. The shoulder flanges are part of the preatorian hood thing which I cut up and then I used green-stuff to fix up the collar. Finally I used a deathmark head and part of a partical caster instead of the spine-piece.
Let me know what you think.
