I'm trying to put together a few lists that I can pull out for friendly pick up games. A lot of the feedback I've been getting is to get some Meganobz for the BW. I'd love to, but they cost a house payment to buy and I have to wait til my wife forgets about the 2 BWs and Deff Dread I just bought. So, how does this sound?


HQ (310pts)

Big Mek (85pts) - walking with the foot soldiers providing cover

Ghazghkull Thraka (225pts) - in the BW

Elites (180pts)

12x Loota (180pts) For general fire support and AA


Troops

Deff Dread w/ 2x Dreadnought close combat weapon, Dreadnought close combat weapon, Kustom mega-blasta (105pts) - cause its a cool looking model, falling in behind the footsloggers to hopefully make it into CC (maybe some kanz would be better?)

29x Ork Boyz w/ slugga/choppa, Nob w/ PK (215pts) - Running up the middle drawing fire

29xOrk Boyz w/ shootas, 3 x big shoota, Nob w/ PK (230pts) - Following the first wave but shooting stuff

17x Ork Boyz w/ slugga,choppa, Nob w/ PK, bosspole (148pts) - Riding the BW with Ghaz

11x Ork Boyz w/ shootas, 1 big shoota, Nob w/ PK, bosspole w/ dedicated Trukk w/ big shoota, Red Paint Job, Reinforced ram (162pts) - Objective grabbing/general mayhem

Heavy Support

Battlewagon 2x Big shoota, Deff rolla, Grot riggers, Red paint job, Stikkbomb chucka, Zzap gun (150pts) - To deposit Ghaz and his mob where they can cause the most mayhem and maybe take out some armor before it blows up.

I would consider down grading Ghazzy to a Warboss in Mega Armour, Cybork, Boss Pole, Attack squig for (130 ptz)
and use the leftover points to say take the second battle wagon loaded up and while this may reduce your walking boyz to shoota thats less impact on their effective strike range ..

I have a 2nd BW still in the box. The first one took me all freaking day to put together so i'm not looking forward to it. Guess I just have to bite the bullet...
