I have been toying with several lists for the Throne of Skulls in September. The Primary detachment is CD and the secondary is CSM. Now, I know on a strictly competitive level I should go CSM as main and take as many Heldrakes as possible; however I don't want to do this. The Warp Storm is far too fun to pass up, and from a fluff point of view I enjoy the idea of a small elite CSM force summoning large hordes of daemons as allies
Please give your opinions on the list, and criticism or help will be appreciated greatly as long as it is constructive! It is a Tzeentchian themed army so I do not want to have Plague Marines or Seeker Calvacades and so forth.

Primary Detachment:

Daemon Prince: Daemonic Flight, Mark of Khorne - 200

Herald of Tzeentch: Greater Locus of Conjuration - 70

5 Havocs: 4 Autocannons with Mark of Nurgle - 130

I would like to give the Havocs Mark of Tzeentch but it just isn't worth it in game. Nurgle is so much better, especially for an entrenched unit. I am using the Prince as a tank hunter and MC killer and not a psyker etc so Furious Charge was a much more appealing prospect and a cheaper one to boot.

My main concern would be how the Daemon Prince will fit in with the rest of the list - there's a danger of him getting isolated so you'll need to make sure you back him up with plenty of horrors etc. That said him and the heldrake should be a terrifying combination if you can get them to hit your opponent's line at the same time so if you can use them properly it might work quite well.

The thing with allies is you always end up spending points on units that might not be that useful (in this case the sorcerer). Have a think about how you can best fit him or an alternative HQ choice in so that they'll complement your main force instead of just being a means for letting you field a Heldrake.

Other than that looks like a decent fun list.
