I had an idea to create a chaos marines army that focused on two chaos gods and have every model torn between which they worship, like a physical split personality that cuts there body in two, straight down the middle.

Now I'm a fan of Nurgle and Tenzitch, but I'm unsure if this would be the best choice from a fluff and modeling perspective.

Also I'm unsure how I could use the rules to best portray this army, if there is any way to have different marks or gear that would seem applicable.

Khorne and nurgle probably get along best of any combo...though they each revel in a different thing - nurgle s loves death and decay, khorne loves the actual killing and bloodshed.

I think you could get away with that though...probably just make one have of the models nurgly, and the other half choppy with chain axes or swords, the occasional bunny helmet..
