So, I need some input once again. I think I'm finally honing in on my final list. The only thing that is absolutely required is 3 Nemesis Dreadknights. I feel it is a very strong metagame choice and I just finished all three of them. (my army is Squats counts-as, it's worth noting)
List one- Grey Knights with Vendettas
Kaldor Draigo
Grand Master Mordrak
CCS with 4 Meltaguns
Paladin with MC Hammer
Paladin with MC Hammer
Veteran Squad with 3 Meltaguns
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
x2 Vendettas
This list runs on overwhelming the opponent on turn one with 4 very potent and durable threats, followed by Vendettas to win the air war. Draigo drops down with Mordrak immediately, combined with the 3 Dreadknights advancing (shunting if need be)at the bulk of my opponent's forces. This list is also quite raw on scoring, with (more than likely) all the Dreadknights and Mordrak himself serving as scoring units (please leave all debate about Grand Strategy-ing Mordrak elsewhere. It's currently possible RaW without Ghost Knights). The four major threats are all 2+ save units with either 5 or 6 toughness.
List two- Grey Knights with Riptide
Draigo
Mordrak
Commander with C&C Node, Neurochip, MSSS, Iridium Armor
x12 Fire Warriors
Paladin
Paladin
Riptide with EWO, Velocity Tracker, Ion Accelerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
This list just includes a Riptide instead of the Vendettas to deal flyers, furthering saturating the 2+/High Toughness threats. The Riptide is insanely durable with the Commander there to soak up 4 more wounds. Furthermore, its usual weakness (melee) is minimal in this list, because the Dreadknights would intercept any such threats. Truth be told, I feel this list is the strongest.
List #3- GK with Necrons
Coteaz
Destroyer Lord with MSS, Weave
x5 Necron Warriors with Night Scythe
x5 Necron Warriors with Night Scythe
x3 Acolytes
x3 Acolytes
x3 Acolytes
x3 Acolytes
x3 Acolytes
x6 Wraiths with 2 Whip Coils
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Dreadknight with Greatsword, Teleporter, Heavy Incinerator
Annihilation Barge
ADL with Quad Gun
This list is obviously quite different. The 3 Acolytes squad might seem odd, but I run them on the theory that my opponent will be too busy dealing with the beating that is 3 Dreadknights and a Wraithstar to find the time to kill all five squads as well as my Warriors.
Any input would be very appreciated!
