In dire need of constructive criticism, opinions and help.

The rules: http://privateerpress.com/files/Journeyman%20League%20Rules.pdf (We're changing it so that the Warlock can be swapped at the 15 point mark)
This means I MUST ALWAYS HAVE 4 Shredders and 1 Carnivean. I know 4 Shredders are a handicap

13 points (Nothing I can change here)
- pLylyth
- 4 Shredders
- Carnivean

15 points (Comes to 14 points. What can I do with 1 point to spare?)
- pLylyth
- 4 Shredders
- Carnivean
- Shepard

25 points (Still 1 point to spare)
- pLylyth
- 4 Shredders
- Carnivean
- Shepard
- 5 Ogrun Warspears + UA

35 points
- pLylyth
- 4 Shredders
- Carnivean
- Shepard
- 5 Ogrun Warspears + UA
- 6 Nyss Striders + UA
- Forsaken

50 points (45 points in reality)
- pLylyth
- 4 Shredders
- Carnivean
- Shepard
- 5 Ogrun Warspears + UA
- 6 Nyss Striders + UA
- Forsaken
- Ravagore

I'm having trouble assigning the last 5 points . I'm stuck between:
- Minimum unit of Hex Hunters (some magical weapons and balance out melee:range ratio )
- Naga Nightlurker ( Animus provides magical and blessed weapons. Might have to find points for a Succubus)
- Teraph ( Simple and keeps with the ranged theme. Template attacks)

Would a different warlock be of any use? ( Lylyth2 springs to mind)

For 1 point you can get another shepherd, a spell martyr, or the swamp gobbers bellows crew.

Nagga Nightlurker is the only real choice of your options. pThagrosh could slip into your list easily. If you stay with pLylith, you may want to look into Typhon. If pThags, heavy beasts and heavy infantry. Lylith assassinates while Thags grinds.

Hmm, will probably go with the swamp gobbers for lower point games then swap for another shepard when I'm running more beasts.

pThag appeals to me quite a lot. How would he be best used in a list like this? I also have Lylyth2 laying around but I think I'd need something that'd give her a free upkeep.

Looks like Typhon is a must get whether I use pLylyth, Lylyth2 or pThag.

You'll need a very different list for lylith2. She'll want multiple Ravagores, bolt throwers, etc, ranged stuff.

pThags runs a brick. Spam spiny growth on key elements and keep your beasts in tight to benefit from death shroud. Warspears+UA lead the way. I run two up and three back. You can throw spiny on the two forward ones. With set defense Fog of War and spiny growth, they can be difficult to deal with. Even if some one does, that just opens the way for your beasts. Attack in controlled bursts. Don't stray too far from Thagrosh until you ready to assassinate or risk taking a juicy target out. The Ravagore will force your opponent to come to you. Or they'll be dead or on fire.

It'll take practice, but it'll be fun. I love seeing people's faces when they realize how tough our beasts can be.

Thank you! You've been a massive help.

Will update sometime in September on how the league goes.
