As I'm sure many of us are familiar with, the poor Y-Wing has often been dubbed as the red-headed stepchild of the Alliance fighters, (Or more entertainingly as the "Why-Wing").
As I've personally been pondering over the fighter myself I'd like to ask ya'll what your builds, proven or otherwise, are for one of the weirdest starfighters.
I've personally been thinking about including an Engine Upgrade to increase it's speed. A 3 forward followed by a 1 forward boost is actually farther than a 4 forward, and the extra degrees with the 1 side banks can help get it out of dangerous firing arcs. While I've only playtested it once, (and only even think about spending the points on Horton Salm) I think it's a consideration towards making the Y-Wing more playable, at least in standard games.

I run Horton with an Ion Cannon. That's all. Some people run 4 Y's with ion cannons and run a wagon wheel. They seem to like it.
|
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I can throw all sorts of naked pictures of Carrie Fisher in here to do so. It would get a lock (a target lock, that is) and remain on topic.
