Problems will arise if you take even 1 casualty in those bike squads, and it makes it so your farseers can potentially run with just 1 casualty if you're joining the HQ's to them, however unlikely. Also, your far seers should have spears to allow them the option of taking on some heavier units. Why waste the mobility of such a unit with no versatility. Have you thought about taking Scatter lasers with Star Cannons on the war walkers to twin link the star cannons? I like the result when I use them, gives them a bit of versatility and 2 more shots each. I think you're overloading your crimson hunters. they're already fairly expensive, and you have no reserve manipulation so I would be very hesitant to take 2. You don't have a ton of models on the field with this list, and so you're going to have a lot of fire directed at them. Also, your Guardians don't have wave serpents, which imo is a mistake. You definitely want the mobility a wave serpent allows for, if not the durability or the sheer firepower. My mistake, didn't see the Comms relay. I think you're making a mistake taking it though because you're basically paying for a 4+ cover save for... your guardians I'm guessing? but that's kind of a big investment for just 2 brightlance shots.

I was planning on running the farseers in the guardian squads. Give them the LD boost. But, I am concerned about the lack of models on the table. I agree that the crimson hunters are very expensive, but they are such reliable anti- flier that it's tough not to take them. While specialized, they are also good at taking on vehicles/ MC's with 4 strength 8 shots. While not amazing, does add to my list. I have thought about the scatter laser combo, but I think in this list I can spare a guide to give to the war walkers and just go nuts with the AP 2 platforms. Yea the ADL is really there just for the guardians for a little added protection, but I do see your point. I am very light on models, and durable ones really. I'd like to hear more of your suggestions, and changes you would make. Just one thing is that I do not like using Wave serpents. I know saying that is pretty taboo, however I'd love to hear advice on what you think can help make this list durable, what units I should change out and switch with another unit.

Well if you want durability, Wraith units have that in spades. They do, however, pay for it in mobility.
A nice middle ground (for Eldar anyways) is going to be Jetbikes. T4 with a 3+ save, 12 inch move, jump move in assault, turbo boost 36 inches... That's one hell of a mobile unit right there. I'd suggest keeping 1 unit of 6 jetbikes with 2 cannons, a warlock and farseer with spears. That gives you 2 str 9 shots at 12 inches, 6 str 6 shots at 24 inches that rend, and more mobility than you can shake a stick at. I run it all the time.
In fact, if the purpose of your hunters is to take out the things that need lancing, why not simply replace all the guardians with jetbike squads. Target saturation isn't a bad idea in a list like this, and then maybe pick up a small dark reaper squad to sit behind the Ageis and shoot the crap outa things. They're definitely expensive, but if you pick up 5 and give them starswarm missiles, thats 5-6 str 8 AP3 shots (or 10-11 str 5 AP3 shots) that can take on MEQ or some AV12 and under.

Hi mate,
I think you have the genesis of a good no-serpent list, but the balance is a bit off. I hate to recommend 10 more Warp Spiders, but a list like this could really use them to get more firepower downrange/more bodies.
With the Farseers, I'm not confident with 3 man Jetbike escorts. Maybe it could work, but it seems just too few models to get through before exposing the seers.
My version would be
Hq
Farseer - 100
Farseer, Jetbike - 115
Troops
1 x 20 Guardians 220
2 x BL
2 x 3 Jetbikes - 102
1 x 6 Jetbikes - 102
Fast Attack
10 Warp Spiders 190
10 Warp Spiders 190
Crimson Hunter Exarch - 190
- Starcannons, Marksman's Eye.
Heavy
Wraith Knight - 240
-Dual Cannon
Wraith Knight - 240
-Dual Cannon
3 Vauls Support - 90
Vibrocannons
ADL - 70
-Comms Relay
Not sure if combining the Guardians into one unit is best or not, I probably would, because then the Divination Footseer can work his spells on 20 guys.

I like your list a lot, but I have a few problems with it. Instead of vibro cannons, I'm thinking of taking d-cannons for the area denial. With that going, I have thought about substituting out my crimson hunters, but I have found that if you don't run them in pairs they tend to fall easy. In pairs they aren't to shabby and get the job done. So I would end up dropping the exarch hunter. From there I'd have the squads of guardians split up, and have three groups of jetbikes with cannons in each. I'll post what my new idea is in the next post, but I do like your list and it can work well if you know how to use it. don't get discouraged when people say the list is not good because if you know how to play it, then you know how to cover the lists weaknesses better. I think that footdar without the wratihguard/scythes are still good and possible. Automatically Appended Next Post: Hq

What AA are you worried about? AV12 or AV11?
Also, who's manning your gun?

I guess I'm worried about AV 12 Fliers. I just don't have enough dakka to take down 3 vendettas and whatever else they bring

Ok well if you're running just Eldar, bringing down multiple AV12 flyers with a TAC list is... very hard. Str7 fire is NOT a reliable way to kill AV12 in the air.
Here are your tools:
Dark Reaper Exarch with Fast Shot and Night Vision behind an ADL with Icarus Lascannon
Crimson Hunter
Unit of atleast 8 warp spiders Deepstriking behind the flyer
Wave serpents using the shield. Automatically Appended Next Post: Realistically, you need to control the field. You need to hit them hard before the flyers come on to maintain control of where your own units come in, you need to set it up so you have field of view with your ADL, and you need to , without a doubt, expect not to kill all the flyers. If you dedicate your entire army to doing so, you *will* lose because you won't pay attention to anything else going on.

Yea, I will typically ignore the fliers, except for the vendettas. There if I down one with the passengers inside, the. I have a chance of killing all the troops inside. Necrons just go into ongoing reserve, so ill try to shoot them down, but not try to hard, and same goes for the hell turkey. I think ignoring them for the most part will be the best for my list

without the fast shot las cannon and a crimson hunter, ignoring them would definitely be the way to go

keep 1 jetbike group on the filed, 1 in reserve, and the rest looks ok. If you have the points, taking a warlock with conceal might not be a bad measure for keeping them alive.

Yea I just don't know if I want to keep the 3x3 squads of jetbikes, or do I want to combine two, and give them cannon upgrades for 2x6 jetbike squads.

I play a Guardian blob bquad frequently and they are really effective just keep them in cover and use them to hold the closest objective. Flamers are your most hated weapon that said I've never seen them wiped off the board from flamers.
20 Guardians 2 brightlances (honestly other weapons will work as well it just what I prefere) and a warlock with conceal.
Got a Ageis Defence Line?
