I have recently acquired myself the iyanden book along with the eldar codex, and I have decided to build an army for some fun. I am not too bothered about winning competitions, there is just me and some friends that play quite regularly. I have all sorts of potential opponents, but I was looking for some advice from people that have played this army before. I will attach my army list for all to see, but my question is regarding the basic wraiths. I have 4 squads, 2 with wraith cannons, 1 with d-scythes, and one with ghost swords, but I'm undecided if this is the best combination. Any thoughts?

Nice theme. Probably better to write your list out than to attach an army builder copy, easier to read.

Night vision is useless on the avatar since his only gun is 12". Grab fast shot and maybe monster hunter/disarming strike.

Triple spiritseers will be insane in this list. If you get renewer, your probably going to win. Consider getting a wraithforge stone on one to auto heal your wraiths.

Blades need to be in 10 man squads, and honestly guard on foot need to be as well.

The knights don't need shoulder guns if they have the wraithcannons. Spend the points on more guard.

Hunter is not that nessacary in this list due to the amount of AT you already bring. Not bad though, but drop night vision. It will only come up once in a blue moon.

The EML is not what it used to be, I would grab another scatter laser or starcannon for the wraithlord.

Overall your list is going to have real problems with hordes. But the whole army is effictively t6+, so good there. Swooping hawks are a great compliment to wraith for their crowd control. You don't want to be wasting wraithcannons on guardsmen.

The EML was more for anti air than anything. I know they're pretty pants now, but they do have a sky fire option. I wanted extra weapons on the knights to give them a relatively 'all round' capability, and I have the hunter as I like the model. Has anyone used the wraith fighter? Wondering if this may be a better alternative ad it seems to have a better anti troop role?

I know the list will struggle against hordes. Just hope the toughness means they hold up longer. Didn't want to throw any aspect warriors in as it doesn't really fit my theme. Really appreciate the comments though. Will apply some tweaks!

Right, I've dropped night vision and the EML as I've noticed you don't get the flakk as standard. I've upgraded the avatars exarch powers so he now has fast shot and monster hunter. I'm reluctant to drop the knights shoulder weapons as it only gains me 60 points, and that only buys me 1 guard as they are 32 points each! Unless there's is other ideas. I considered dropping The Lord for a serpent, but one tank would look out of place!
