I live outside the New Castle pa/ Youngstown Ohio area... Looking for a adult group to game with.... Both cities are the same distance from me so its a "Horse a piece"... I know about the places in Pittsburgh area... Been there before but its a Hr drive...

I assume you don't have a game store in New Castle. I will more than likely be up there in a month for work so was wondering about getting some purchases in.

You'll have to head into Youngstown or Grove City.... All American Comics in youngstown knocks off 20%.... Yeah there is nothing in New Castle...

There really isn't much in the way of players out this way that i've seen... There was a group at Bell Comics and Cards for a while but they 'er had some ego problems... bound to happen... ever since... no one has stepped up...

I will actually be staying in Grove City. Might have to check out the store while I'm there.

Yeah I grew up in Fairview outside of Erie... Went to college at Edinboro... I know Meadville does not have much going on also.... Its like we live in the black hole of things to do... Not much goes on out here in Amish Country... Thought about asking one of the Amish guys to play a game but found out it considered "Witch Craft"... Guess I should not have mentioned "Daemons" was one of the armies..

You're right that there's not much for the gaming scene out this way.

Looked for a long time when I lived in the Ellwood City area, that was hard enough, but moving further north was worse for a playerbase.

I considered Bell's in Grove City, but I don't think they have any gaming tables (Not 100 percent sure about that)

Thought about maybe organizing a group myself, but I don't have much in the way of space other than my falling down garage, that and my battle table isn't finished yet.

I do think there's a small group of players in Ytown and Columbiana area, but I don't know if they're still active, I'll check into it.

Yeah not sure about Bell's....Only been there a few times and only seen people playing Magic... Never noticed any 40k tables but I really was not paying much attention... Columbiana is about a 45 min drive for me... Been down there once but that was over a year or two ago.. I live out side of New Wilmington in a little Village named New Bedford... If I find out anything from Bells i will PM you

I did some thinking on this, and I do remember New Dimension Comics used to support the 40k playerbase. They stopped carrying citadel stuff a long time ago, but they are always willing to order stuff (silly considering anyone with a web browser can do that) but I think if any of their locations were contacted, I'm sure they'd be willing to host events. Granted they don't have any battle tables, but anyone with some terrain peices could fix that in a jiffy considering that they have a butt load of tables for Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh.

It might be worth looking into, I'm actually acquainted with the owner of the stores, I could see if I could pull some strings. I'd guess the closest store to you would be Ellwood, but its jam packed with comics and doesn't offer much in the way of gaming accomodations, Cranberry or Butler I'd say would be the better bets. Butler I know really supported the 40k games a couple years back, they probably have more space than any of the other stores. I could check into it for you, I'd say it's at most a 40 to 45 min shot down 422 from new bedford.
