Tough Traitorous Guardsman

Being a long time lost and damned player I was thrilled when the allied rules came back. Recently I've been mulling over trying to get this combo to pay off. I really enjoy the Nurgle aesthetic and I think it might be fun to put together a few guardsmen. I ran down to my local FLGS and picked up a box of plague bearers. I also ordered some cool looking reaper minis to stand in for the GUO and DP. I've decided on a demonic core to the army consisting of the following units:

Great Unclean One
Flying Demon Prince
Herald
40 or so plague bearers

However the IG half is up in the air. I mean the logic I suppose would be use Nurgle to score and IG to shoot but I'm not really sure how to go about that. I wasn't sure weather to go the IG power blob route with some Beasts of Nurgle. Or I could take some high AV vehicles like a Russ, a Soul Grinder, and maybe a chimera or two. Does anyone have any ideas about what to fill out the list with?
