Hello everyone, with the new Space Marine Codex dropping soon it has inspired me to create and start my Black Dragons. I have started a thread gathering all the information that I could find on them here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/546956.page

*NOTE: READING INFO IN LINK WILL HELP UNDERSTAND THE LIST BETTER*

Now as one of the posters in that thread mentioned he seemed to think that Blood Angels would fit the bill quite nicely, so I am turning to you guys to help me out. I have been debating Space Wolves as well trying to figure out what would be a good fit in regards to the above information but decided to give this a try. I want to cover all my bases just in case the new Marine Book would not be a good fit to create my Black Dragons army and the fact I am brand new to Space Marines. Now this is my first attempt at trying to create a strong and competitive BA list so any or all thoughts, comments and ideas are more then welcome and encouraged, thanks for your help guys!

Roster:

-x60 Marines, x5 Drop Pods, x2 Storm Ravens

Tactics:

-Librarian attatches himself to the Dragonguard who will come down and hose everything in the near vicinity with either flamers or special ammunition.

-x4 Tactical Squads which will be forming into Combat Squads (Flamer and Multi-Melta & Combi-Melta teams respectfully) with the purpose of targetting infantry and mech.

-x5 Dragon Claws with a Claw Leader to assault out of the back of a Stormraven and tear apart any enemy that they may come across.

-Stormravens will act as Gunships handling Anti-Air and utilizing the Power of the Machine Spirit to focus on multiple targets, that and act as transports for my Dragon Claws to assault out of (fits the fluff from a scene in the Black Library Book: "The Death of Antagonis")

Well, I'd replace one Tactical squad (in a Drop Pod) by another hard hitting Sternguard unit with combi-meltas or combi-plasma.

Id do exactly what he said, to do so combine the preist to one squad they still have the ic rule letting them go wherever they want.
Also give your SG some combi-meltas for more anti tank in there.

When you say combine the priest to one squad what do you mean?
